Leona R. from Rosedale/White Marsh Office
“I’ve started my PT at the Rosedale office and so far have been completely satisfied. Everything being done has been explained and the staff there are very kind. Hopefully this therapy will get rid of my pain. I do feel better after my session. “

“Dr. Alex Tan has been treating me for a painful rotator cuff injury. Alex is a professional, knowledgeable and a gifted Physical Therapist. He is always able to pinpoint the exact location to be worked on. His dry needling skills have really helped me. My pain level is getting better and my range of motion has made good progress. I still have to work on building strength with my home exercises. Dr. Tan listens carefully and he also promptly revises any of my home exercises until it is spot on. Alex is attentive to you while you are doing your exercises to make sure that you are doing it correctly and it is encouraging throughout. He has helped me come this far and I am thankful for this. In addition, Theresa and Shawnnaja at the front desk have always been very helpful whenever I have had any questions. I find Physical Therapy First to be a welcoming provider and it is always clean and I really like that. Thank you. “

“I have experienced painful night-time cramping in my lower legs(shin splints) for at least 15 years. No relief followed the advice from orthopedic surgeons, internal medicine doctors, sports medicine doctors, and wearing orthotics; that is until evaluation and treatment by Lillian Byington aka Dr. Lillian. One dry needle treatment, comprehensive education about the causes of my disorder /dysfunctional anatomy, and an extensive care plan of stretches, exercises and the seemingly simple advice of loosening my shoelaces, all resulted in the first three weeks free of pain in fifteen years. I am so grateful. At age 71, I am now able to resume jogging. Thank you, Lillian”

“The staff, environment, patient experience and convenience of PT First in Roland Park are top notch. The therapists are so professional and extremely well informed about the latest protocols and best practices. They consult with each other continually; and they are great about educating patients on the recovery process. Especially for a runner or other athlete who wants to get back to competing or training, it seemed like the therapists really “got it” and offered lots of ideas for patients to maintain fitness, maximize recovery, and otherwise do everything possible to safely resume activity. I would recommend this practice to anyone of any age or treatment scenario – really excellent.”
